Herceptin – New Drug against breast tumours

Scientists have came up with a drug which can target breast tumours. This drug targets an enzyme, PTP1B (protein tyrosin phosphatase), which appears to remove the intervals between cell division.
The drug herceptin, developed by Merck, blocks PTP1B.
